Northern Ireland & European Deliveries

Northern Ireland & European Deliveries
At the moment we are seeing an increase in delivery time for customers based in Europe as customs checks on all imports / exports cause extra delays, as everyone gets used to the new system – we have been advised in some cases that this can take up to 6 weeks so please be prepared for delays. For customers based in Northern Ireland delivery is typically around 72hrs for both small orders and larger pallet orders, this service on the whole is not experiencing as much disruption. Pallet Deliveries If you intend to place a large order off over 150kg for delivery to Europe or Northern Ireland it is important that you provide the following information when placing your order:
  • EORI number
  • XI EORI number (for NI deliveries only)
  • Traces Approval Number (for European customers wishing to import POAO only)
Products Of Animal Origin Due to new legislation all products of animal origin (POAO) including fish meals, milk and egg powders will require an Export Health Certificate (EHC) in order to delivered into Northern Ireland and Europe.  We promise to only pass on what we are charged but expect this to be about £150 per order. If you are not in a rush for your order and are willing to wait a few extra weeks on delivery it is possible that we could group multiple orders together to try and reduce the cost as much as possible.  If this is something that you are interested in please let us know as soon as possible. Traces For customers based in Europe wanting to import POAO we also ask that you register your business with TRACES.  On doing so you will be granted a unique identification number which will be recorded on the EU’s TRACES NT system. If you have any questions on any of the above please contact us and we will try to guide you through the system as much as possible.
